You are a lifesaver. I'd been struggling with this all morning until I found you post. Everything seems to be working now.

    Re: Anybody use Twitter?

Gwibber is great. I'm also using it to post to both Twitter and Identi.ca. I also like the fact that I can use it to keep track of Facebook updates

    Re: Anybody use Twitter?

I've started using it relatively recently with a Gwibber client.

It's a surprisingly convenient way of chatting with random people.

Poll: Re: What is your opinion on Ubuntu?

This is pretty much my experience, too. For a long time I tended to think of Linux as being a server OS and pretty much irrelevant to a desktop user such as me.

Ubuntu does make it very clear...

I hit the same problem. You can fix it by installing the pywebkitgtk deb from here: https://code.launchpad.net/~jorge/+archive

    Re: I Want Answers

I used to have a set of those earphones. They are very good indeed, soundwise, and even managed to stay put while cycling to work.

  20. Re: (Somewhat facetiously) Should we have a sticky telling Windows experts to stay aw

  22. Re: (Somewhat facetiously) Should we have a sticky telling Windows experts to stay aw

    Re: Coffee addiction?

I'm not a big fan of Coke - or any soft drink for that matter - I find they tend to get too sweet too quickly. But Diet Coke has no flavour at all.
