    Have you tried to fix the master boot record with the Windows CD? This will get rid of grub and will allow you to log straight into Windows. You will need to repair gub after that, though.

    preferences>plugins

    check the box for 'Files and Folders' then click in configure and add the folder to the list of indexed folders.

    Gnome do wont open folders with accents (e.g. Música instead of Music). It wont open subfolders within one that has an accent. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
