Okay thanks for that.
Goodbye! :)
Nahh I posted in a thread. I mean it this time. And I wanted to thank those who deserve it. It's no easy task running a forum of this size.
And just to be sure I asked for account to be locked.
Please could you close my account so I'm not tempted to come back here and post again, loads of threads are Windows bashing threads now and it's just really stupid.
Thanks
Vince.
This one is not a joke, A goodbye and a thank you.
I have decided to officially leave these forums now due to the ever increasing amount of Windows bashing. Most of you may not know me but I...
Well that's your problem for not using the correct drivers. Same happened to me when XP Came out.
If you used the Packard Bell reinstall program you would get a lot of OEM Bloat with it. Packard Bell are one of the worst for adding that rubbish to a Windows install.
24 Seconds here from LILO to Desktop.
You must have real slow computers if you think that Vista takes that long to boot. Just as I thought the Windows bashing stopped!
Mod the case and put some new components in it. Thats what I'm doing with an old 386 case for the fun of it, though I don't know what I can with the LED Panel which displays the CPU Speed next to the...

Have you tried 9.3? It was always buggy on Arch for me but when I try it on Ubuntu it...
Even though I've left the forums I did however say I'd still post updates and help guides for those who do care.
The ATi Catalyst 9.3 driver has been released and can be installed OOTB on Ubuntu...
Because I don't have the time or resources to support it. Also It's very specific for a set of computers I build, it won't work too great on other systems as it has a customised kernel. Also I think...
Right, Linux does not need to change it's image, some of the communities do though because they're full of Microsoft bashing and Y distro vs X distro, like this one.
In my opinion the reason why...
Microsoft bashing - what a fail.
I don't drink Alcohol.
Same thing happens with my Xbox 360 controller if I use an old kernel it bricks the controller until I power off the computer from the switch on the wall or unplug the controller.
Perhaps in between that time the card lost power for just long enough that it could reinitialise.
Debian is by no means obsolete.
It gave it a working driver that's all.
If the other OS's are going then you can say goodbye to:
A Lot of Kernel Contributions
Gnome
Ext3
KDE
OpenOffice
Banshee
Oh wait, that means Ubuntu can't possibly exist anymore without...
Move libflashplayer.so /home/yourusename/.mozilla/plugins, If you have more than one user you can move it to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins.

Gyachi should be near enough what you're looking for.
One quick google search would have got you:

If that's what you're going to label people like who use the OS without doing any of the above I would encourage them to switch back to Windows. Just using the OS is contributing as it as improving...
