I get those warnings on my T400 too, but it doesn't crash my suspend/resume or hibernate/resume cycle.
Well, I believe there is indeed a concurrency problem, since the script petri0 posted is working out for me.
I did not have any hardware related boot problems. I am using my T400 with all devices...
Can you confirm this through several suspend- or hibernate-resume cycles?
