[ubuntu] Re: Ubuntu Macbook 7,1 Problems

Macbook Pro/ Macbook is the same thing. I have the same machine you do. Make sure surrond is checkmarked. That is why it is not sounding good. Make sure everything is all the way up too.
  8. Re: new xf86-input for macbooks and other multitouch-touchpads.

I would really enjoy a bug free version of this. This way I would use Ubuntu more.

  10. Re: new xf86-input for macbooks and other multitouch-touchpads.

Is there a way to make 2 finger scrolling to skip more steps? It is much harder to scroll with this enable than the one by default. But I do enjoy the multitouch. Also sometimes at startup after wifi...

  13. [ubuntu] Re: Macbook Triboot with Ubuntu on Windows Partition

What is the point of using Ubuntu if it isn't natively running. Yes Wubi is technically Native but its not as fast as actual install. You should highly consider tri booting with refit.

  16. [all variants] Re: Apple users area, but no windows users area?

Like I said in my post. It isn't needed as Windows is a term for OS. Mac can be a term for hardware/software as it is one in the same. Outside this forum is PC users who can post in General areas or...
  17. [all variants] Re: Apple users area, but no windows users area?

Well lets think here. Besides linux there are PC's and Mac's right? Apple makes their own hardware therefore we need our own section. Dell has Ubuntu on some of their machines so they get there own....
  18. [ubuntu] Re: Macbook Triboot with Ubuntu on Windows Partition

  19. [ubuntu] Re: Macbook Triboot with Ubuntu on Windows Partition

Unfortunately refit is the only way to go. However, when refit loads by default it highlights Mac OSX apple. After 2 seconds, it automatically loads into Mac OSX so it really isn't that much of a...

[ubuntu] Re: MacBook Pro 7.1 - EFI Boot -Nvidia Drivers
