  4. Re: Where to report a keyboard layout bug?

Thanks. I've reported the bug against Gnome-shell.

I might try spinning up a VM with a different DE and see if that makes any difference.

  7. Where to report a keyboard layout bug?

I've discovered a bug in a keyboard layout in 20.04. However, I've got no idea which package I should report against.

Is there anyone who can tell me where the report should go?

    [ubuntu] Re: Very odd program

Remmina is a standard part of Ubuntu 18.04. It's a client for connecting to a remote machine via a GUI. As far as I know, I don't think anything can connect to your machine through it.

    Have you...

Re: Thunderbird Calendar on Ubuntu 18.04

The Thunderbird calendar extension is Lightning. Is this installed? If so, it should show up in your list of add-ons.

If you don't have it, you can get Lightning from addons.thunderbird.net, or...

  17. Re: Brother printer "Processing - Waiting for printer to become available."

I ran into this when I first got my Brother printer, and I had to Google extensively before I found a solution, so, no, it has nothing to do with being a newbie.

You need to click on Additional...

Re: Plant based "Meats". Your opinion?

I had a burger patty recipe some years ago which used ground toasted sunflower seeds in place of meat. I was following a vegetarian diet at the time, so I took some of these to a neighbourhood...

Thanks, that might be a workaround in the meantime.
  22. [SOLVED] Re: Session x11 not working. Any action on desktop is ignored.

On further investigation, I think that my particular Wayland problem is with Synaptic. (I guess it's bug-report time. :) ) Otherwise, Wayland seems to work well. Xorg seems to be the one that's...

Thanks. I've marked myself as affected.
  24. [SOLVED] Re: Session x11 not working. Any action on desktop is ignored.

I've been having what sounds like similar problems, but with both X11 and Wayland. Restarting X (when using X11) via SSH seems to result in the system locking up again almost immediately. Mine's...
  25. Re: Looking for an SFTP Client for Android

I use Total Commander, which, as the name suggests, is a bit like Midnight Commander. A number of plugins can be installed, including SFTP, and, yes, it can be set up to use SSH keys. I've used it...
