same problem here. Just upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04. already twice in the past hour. Requires me to reopen open applications. This really is a problem.

just installed 10.04. Hibernate does not work. Rest is OK, so no big issue. On the 32 bits install (another pc; core duo) it works flawless. I had hoped that with the work done on the fat upstart...
I had the same. So I re-installed the previous version to follow with the 10.04 upgrade. This I now use to write you this message. Not exactly the way to go, but it works.
