Thanks for the fix :)
Yes, I will soon make a release. I just installed Ubuntu 10.10. Need to update Mac4Lin for it...
Thanks for letting us know, Peng :) Well, looks like I need to make a formal release. The latest version is in the SVN repo and it appears not everyone knows how to get the latest version off it.
Just an update, Mac4Lin SVN has been updated with a new version of GTK Themes' and GTK Icons' directories. They are compatible with the latest version of GNOME and distributions like Ubuntu, Fedora...
I'm aware of the issue, but I haven't been finding time of late to work on Mac4Lin. Dev. has been pretty slow :(
I would welcome anybody who wishes to help me in Mac4Lin development :)
Yeah, as I said in our email conversations this is a system-wide issue that no themes that are based on GTK pixbuf engine are being applied.
That's good. KDE is a good DE, albeit a bit heavy....
Hope it works and is easy enough for users to configure!
Well, every single appreciation counts... :) at least for me!
Anybody has any experience with GDM2? It appears that the GDM Login screen can be customized in the latest version of Ubuntu.
DJ_Peng is correct about the splash screen. They've changed it so many times that it's become difficult for me and him to work on that. I think Ubuntu now uses Splashy instead of Usplash. So...
Peng, can you email me the usplash sources?
Here, version 0.1alpha through 1.0:

Well the old version is always available :) In fact, all versions are available for download at sf.net downloads page!
Look good :)
Well, Mac4Lin already has those icons in 128px in .png format. .svg is not a strict requirement.
First it was Fedora and now it's Ubuntu that doesn't allow changing GDM manually. They've either...
Just extract the file and run the install script. Alternatively, if you want to install everything manually just grab the PDF documentation from the Mac4Lin sourceforge.net downloads page.

Yes, thats a Firefox issue. Need to re-work on the Mozilla themes. Looks like Peng has been busy and the original guy who worked on the FF Themes (Dr.P) isn't around since quite sometime. Looks like...
Find the existing BT icon in the same folder and rename the bluetooth-black to that name. This should do the trick.
Thanks for the update, Peng :)
I can only see a wallpaper in your image.
Thanks for the info. I really gotta try this. This looks interesting :)
Mac4Lin is one of Lifehacker's Most Popular Linux Posts of 2009! It feels really good when you see your project figure on one of the Web's most popular tech websites! A big THANK YOU for all the...
Can you try only installing the Mac4Lin GTK theme and testing if Rhythmbox crashes now too?
Definitely not a Mac4Lin issue as the same does not modify any system files.
Looks like some update screwed things up. Is this a known bug? See here:

Thats not AWN. Thats Cairo dock.
Thanks for the update, Peng :)
