    [ubuntu] Re: Dell Precision M4800

    [ubuntu] Re: Dell Precision M4800

The driver did work for me but the connection still isn't stable. I can connect but after a while the connection drops and sometimes it will reconnect but most of the time it won't.

[ubuntu] Re: Security Flaw On Ubuntu?

The n_tty_write function in drivers/tty/n_tty.c in the Linux kernel through 3.14.3 does not properly manage tty driver access in the "LECHO & !OPOST" case, which allows local users to cause a denial...

Re: ClamAV false positives: a comparison with AVG

If you use Wine it is a good idea to run AV because malware runs in Wine just as good as Windows.

Sounds like your browser has been hijacked by scareware. Let me guess you keep getting redirected to a web page asking you to give them money or buy their software?

Re: TrueCrypt, Heartbleed and Funding Security

LUKS can do almost everything Truecrypt can do so it isn't that big of a loss but I will miss Truecrypt too just because it was cross platform.

Re: Can't use HDMI to output to TV

Another trick you can try is with your laptop plugged into the TV boot it up with the lid closed. This should make it default to the external display and turn the internal display off.

    [ubuntu] Re: Hacked?

It is silly to assume your computer is compromised just because your email got breached. A more likely scenario is you used the same user name and password on a site that is misusing your...

Re: I have problem with NVIDIA graphic card driver

I just open the additional drivers app that comes with Ubuntu and do it through there. That is the easiest way I have found to install drivers.

  21. [ubuntu] Re: Unable to access encrypted drives mounted under another user...
