    Check the output in the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file. If the card has multiple connections (DVI and VGA) you'll probably find that X11 is assuming all your xorg.conf settings apply to the VGA0...

    This card supports DVI and VGA connections. If you're using the VGA connection X11 probes it as VGA0 but it is actually VGA2. Because of this it is using default probed info which ends up limiting...
