    [SOLVED] Re: Audio connector problem

Unlikely. It's more likely that your two wires are actually two coax cables. This is common practice.
  2. [ubuntu] Re: apt-get upgrade succesful but software updater keeps insisting I upgrade

Ithink it's a conflict between your GUI "update reminder" and the kernel versions (I've turned the thing off, to be honest).

I suspect your installation is using a 5.4.0-xx kernel, which is fine....

    [SOLVED] Re: Audio connector problem

    [SOLVED] Re: Audio connector problem

I assume you're talking about phone jacks?

In that case, just plug in the 3-pole jack, it should work right away.

gsettings... what am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to set up an exclude list for Deja-dup, but Gnome geekyness got me (why is it so hard just to make an ASCII exclude/include file?).
    Apparently Deja-dup/Duplicity maintain an internal...

[ubuntu] Re: New to Ubuntu - Please Bear With Me

I think your basic premise is off.
OneDrive is a Microsoft product/service, and I'm pretty sure it will never work with Linux in any form.
First, you'll need to find a different cloud service...

Re: long boot times in 20.04

Check your UUIDs in grub, fstab and initramfs (and other places if applicable to your system). If they don't match you'll get very long boot times, but not necessarily an error.

    This can happen if...

    Re: USB installer hangs

Are you sure it's hanging and not just having a slow USB interface? I've had installations using up to 10 min. at that point.

    I feared that answer.
