Look at Lenovo. They have a good track record with being Linux compatible. I had the ThinkPad Edge E430 and everything worked great.
I am having the same issue as well. everything else is working good enough i just can;t stand tapping on something and having the pointer move and end up clicking something else.

i have Chrome, Firefox, and Terminal/ssh windows open all the time. but that is it. the screen goes fuzzy all of the sudden while I'm working and does a hard reboot.
