Actually, the Ubuntu installation has mainly stayed the same for nearly 3 years now. It's a very simple process to install Ubuntu these days.
Thank you so much! :) And to everyone else who replied to this thread, I am running Windows 7, not Windows 8. :D
I want to install Ubuntu, but want to use Wubi. Why was it not released for 13.04? I need it! :(
Netboot doesn't do anything. I tried it before. It just checks your ethernet card or something. But, is your computer close to a wireless router or anything? If not, then don't mind the crackling,...
Yes, I agree. Ubuntu 9.x and 13.04 do have pretty big differences. For example, 9.x is a pretty old Ubuntu release, while Ubuntu 13.04 is the newest version.

Yep. I agree with Carl4926 on this one. ;)
eipapp, I would recommend that you add the PPA for Ubuntu Tweak. You should then be able to install Ubuntu Tweak. You can find the PPA by searching for "Ubuntu Tweak PPA" on Google. Hope this helps!
Hmm, did you try downloading the ISO from Ubuntu's website or from a torrent, burn the ISO to a DVD, and then do a fresh install 13.04 that way? If not, I would recommend trying my suggestion. It...
