them easily & not have to remember where they are located...

I do not understand since I am the only one to use computer I thought
I was root!!

How do I remove the lock on a scanned file?

I am trying to get my partition back that nautilus fouled up see below.

You have a directory in media named homeubu
so when you mount homeubu in nautilus it shows up as homeubu_
delete the...

/media/homeubu is a partition on my A drive & ubuntu is on my C drive!!

I moved the file to /home/bill & I then went to properties & it says I am the owner.
