The same problem occurs using the -vn switch unfortunately.

Hi,

I'm trying to extract the audio from an mp4 video file and convert it to mp3 using ffmpeg. The problem is that the resulting audio file is only 3m2s long, whereas the video file is 8m15s long....

Try using the following command to remove temporary packages of former installations:


sudo apt-get clean

This may or may not clear up a lot of space, depending on how much and in what way...
