I have a modern PC.. (Amd 3500+ at 2.63 Ghz..) But I have an old laptop I am getting to the point where it is my ultraportable.. Needs a battery first.. Sonj Z505J- 350 Mhz!

you have to open it as root. That will mean opening it in the terminal using "sudo" in front of the command like so:

"sudo gedit /filepathandname"

Gedit will open the file in- you guessed it-...

Gateway Anthlon XP 1Ghz 256 Mb RAM 20 GB HD Windows ME
(Upgraded to 80 gig, and 640 Mb RAM and a geforce 4)

Gateway 300 Mhz P2 (Or sumin like that) 128 mb ram...

Never used wine.. But 32 bit works just fine on Amd 64- You will want to install the K7 kernel from the repos after you install tho (Like 686- but for AMD procs. It is 32 bit)

Nicer logout screen.. lol

32 is faster for me than 32 breezy...

Actually, in some cases, (Normally when the case has a BAD airflow design..) it can actually help- just try it and check your temps. It CAN help withought an additional fan..

AMD Anthlon 64 3500- Firefox. XGL/Compiz- no problems.. only 372 mb ram used.. out of 1 gig. WITH firefox. XGL/Compiz, gdesklets, amarok,etc..

Again, has all of the=is been fixed in updates?
