    oops! I ran "sudo usermod -G bitpim -a your_user_name" without the -a and now when I go to users and groups I get an error:
    Failed to run users-admin.

    Automatix states you can pay a fee to the makers or whatever of the codec's, if you're so much worried about sinning to the point of downloading a codec you can contact the codec makers and pay them..

    Is that the same thing as aptitude remove?
    One command not listed I like to use sometimes is:
    gksudo nautilus, add/edit root folders and such

    What I just do is save the icons from the internet then move it or not, doesn't matter.. properties and select it.
    If you wanna move it I just move it with the other stuff, /usr/share/pixmaps...

    I don't have kmenuedit. I am in gnome if that makes a difference.
    Also Alacarte now isn't here in Edgy I just upgraded from Dapper where I did have it..

    Also, what category would it go under?
    It is located in /usr/lib/BitPim-0.9.07/ if that's any different..

    I had that same problem, it turned out the plugins it installed went to the wrong folder, when I moved them to ~/.quodlibet/plugins/events it worked.

    Also that is a public key paste the first line...

    wow broadcom really needs to make linux drivers, cause this is ****in pissing me off... can't get htis **** to work on ubuntu so now Im trying SuSE in hopes of better support, and SuSE's installers...
