What do you mean? GRUB v2.00 was released some time ago.

I built it on Squeeze when it was at beta 3. Built went smoothly and I got the default theme. The theme is not too shabby, but not as good as some of the more recent ones posted here.

I never used BURG, but I'm pretty sure they won't work in GRUB. While it will certainly look quite different, you should be able to use the graphics to create a GRUB2 theme.

Have patient my friend, a default theme will be included in GRUB 2.00 and is already included in the bzr branch of GRUB, presently at GRUB 2.00~Beta3. But I'm guessing, this will never be upgraded...

The simplest way to do this is to edit /etc/default/grub and change the GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR line to:
