    i would say this is 95% chance of a hardware problem, test with a alt keyboard. always keep a spare on hand you have no idea when you need to smash a keyboard during gaming and scream in german.

    no extensions but it has to do with scaling and gnome-pannel just changing itself when i put the 4th monitor.

    it was odd i had 3 monitors and no problem, then i put the 4th and it came back again....

    do a clean os reinstall
    allow the setup scripts to partition so you dont waste a lot of space
    ssds are cheap now so just get a 4tb ssd and regular hdds for mass...
