    Thanks Mark Phelps for the reply. I fixed the issue with fglrx Drivers. If they do come back with an issue i'll try what you suggested.

    I had lots of issues with 11.04 and 11.10.
    since I loaded 12.04 things have gone a lot smother for me.

    I'm not saying it will solve your problems, but it's stability it better than version 11.

    Changing it to genome classic did change it back to 0.5Gig ram on idle.

    ctrl + F2 keys
    SORRY ITS ctrl + 2
    and hold it in
