[ubuntu] Re: Headset with microphone - no sound

I don't understand much of this. SB live is my primary, basically after I plug the headphones, nothing changes, and after I switch manually to the HDMI, there's no sound.

[lubuntu] Re: Language icon for AWN's systray

oh, I'm sorry, but I'm asking for something else :)
I do already have the icon, but it is a generic one. When I run gnome-panel, I get a proper icon, but this is not the case with AWN.

[gnome] Re: ESC key to close any active window

Well, you can't really use ESC key, because when you try to set it, it just closes the preferences window :)

[ubuntu] Re: CD drive not opening

in case you don't give to "eject" any parameters, it works directly with /dev/hdc.
just locate your cd/dvd drive with:

    ls /dev/cd*
    ls /dev/dvd*

    and give it to "eject".
