Some WiFi routers will go into that mode by themselves without configuration - I've seen it happen on wifi routers that didn't even document the feature.
Try powering the router off, then on again.
I wasn't trying to RAID whole disks, so I had to partition. When doing that, there is a specific partition type for RAID, so this probably wouldn't hurt.
Hmmm, my RAID *was* the drive I was booting from...... Anyhow, good luck.
I had the md127 thing happening to me.
This was with internal drives, RAID1, under Ubuntu 14.04, back in 2017, but it may still apply.

Handbrake doesn't seem to be able to preview scenes, to let me figure out if they are the ones I want. Acidrip does.
Thank you very much!
I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 with a somewhat dodgy install of the GUI. For instance, I'm running a gnome-flashback interface, but apt-cache policy gnome-flashback-desktop says it's not installed.... and...
I seem to be suffering significant sequential write performance penalties, when writing to RAID1 ext3 partitions, as opposed to writing to "bare metal" ext3 partitions on the same disks in the same...
I'm running ubuntu 14.04. Once upon a time (at a previous release on this machine), I installed gnome-fallback or gnome-flashback, which ever it was called at the time. It may have been several...
So I did it and found out. mdadm lets you add the larger partition on the new drive to the RAID1 and resync the data to it. Then replacing the other drive gets it resynced, too.
But the RAID1...
So I've outgrown my 1TB drives, with Raid 1 partitions of 900+GB for / and few GB for swap.
Can I fail and remove the partitions for one disk, power down, put the new disk in place of the one...

Have you tired SSH'ing into the system from another machine?

It seems like...

So I just upgraded to 14.04 - after upgrade, neither Firefox nor GoogleChrome could play Facebook vids - they would both hang the browser.
