The "info: port 2000 ..." message is not a problem, just an information message that confuses a lot of LTSP users.
In your dhcp.conf, you seem to be missing the "/opt" in your full path....
sudo apt-get install openbsd-inetd

/home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/somerandomkey.default/cert8.db
where somerandomkey looks like "ijz0df3h".

One simple way is to use the kiosk option of ltsp-build-client.
In a terminal window, run "sudo ltsp-build-client --kiosk"
This will give the user a Firefox browser and nothing more. No login...
I seem to have the same problem. Likewise let me join the AD domain, but I can't login using "domain\username" from the login GUI.
The GUI did not ask to set my home directory. Maybe that's it.
