Has anyone ever got the ham radio program QSSTV to work? If so, what did you do? I cannot get it to sync at all.

Has anyone ever got the ham radio program QSSTV to work? If so, what did you do? I cannot get it to sync at all.
Been using Ubuntu a couple of years. Live near Mountain Home. I have used just about every linux distribution out there and believe Ubuntu is overall the best.:)
