got it to work. simply go to settings and set mac os x as boot. then when restarted use disks to delete the ubuntu partition and resize the mac os x partition to its original state.

I tried the above, but I keep getting the following:

No /boot/loader

tried the following:

ok, so I tried to use boot-repair, but that resulted in 2 BSD entries, which both didnt work. Also I do not know exactly what you mean by search line..
