I read all about this and tried everything but still can't fix this problem. I have this with the wired internet connection(haven't checked for wireless).

While my colleague's internet...

OK...I did this...but now, I am officially with no OS. It has happen all over again...I have no menu.

I placed the fonts as mentioned above...and now I need somebody's help to get them out of...

Compile it and I'll host it !

thanks man, but i've tried all of this and it went fine, but no fonts showing in my apps (ooffice, abiword)

must be some nasty bug, i did almost everything to get this to work

can somebody please explain better this procedure of using fonts with a link?

i have xp on the disk, so i think it might work...

I have a agfa snapscan e20 and it could not be recognized in 7.10. I did what was suggested in the first post but still no luck.

i just went in and deleted the fonts i installed

that worked and i got my pc working

after a while...

i tried this: sudo fc-cache -fv right after i opened nautilus, made a myfonts folder in...

I wanted to install some fonts from windows and i got my folder for install. quickly i figured that there was no way of installing them easy, so i read around and did this:
