[ubuntu] Re: Can't change CPU scaling policy settings

Perhaps the AC adaptor does not supply enough power to handle peak power draws from the CPU. The battery is required to supply the peak demand and ensure correct system operation

  3. [ubuntu] Re: Virtualbox USB grey on Maverick, where is /proc/bus/usb?

Got it to work (non-free VirtualBox).
    Just follow post #2 here:
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9756001&postcount=2
Don't forget to restart Ubuntu (maybe logout is enough)

Take out the hard disk and connect it to another computer. There are USB interfaces like this one:

[ubuntu] Re: Can't change CPU scaling policy settings

Well, after several tries, no luck yet.

    Please do it.

I'm afraid you can't, not at least under SIP. This is another reason why I ended up using Ekiga for SIP.

[all variants] Re: Setting up SIP VoIP in Empathy

Well, it did work on Lucid Beta, but now on the final, I can't get it to work again (I did a clean install).
It is lot easier on Ekiga, not very elegant, but at least works fine.

Complicado sin saber qué hizo el script que usaste antes.
¿Intentaste reinstalar Skype eliminando los archivos de configuración de éste? (En synaptic una de las opciones al eliminar algo es esa)
