    The additional grub2 possible parameters are: --target=i386-pc or --target=x86_64-efi

    I will try this again later. Let me test the drive as it is on old hardware first...

    I did as you instructed and it works for me too! I tested on my Asus X54C, activating and deactivating the UEFI boot mode. I can boot on both modes... I will test this on old machines...
