    I am at a loss file a bug or wait for a different person to come along. Or look at dmesg logs to see what the heck the kernel is thinking you could post

    Try to boot into a different kernel via grub and see if it works.

    update and upgrade

    yeah it will be it can also un-correct other packages that maybe install like forcing downgrades that can cause more headaches then it is worth. This is why I asked to see what was causeing this...

    Are you sure that you need ndiswrappper ?
    can you open up the terminal (ctrl+alt+t ) and enter in

    lspci -vnn | grep 0280

    then find the numbers that are in the [] should be something...
