i'm in San Jose, so can't help there, but wondered how your install has gone.

I've been running a Wubi install of 10.04 on that exact model for months and it worked fine. Amazingly simple to do the install and mostly just works.

i found that installing ndiswrapper with ndisgtk (available via synaptic from repositories and shows up on menu as "Windows wireless drivers" was the least painful and most effective way to correctly...
