    [ubuntu] Panel goes away

After my monitor goes to sleep, and wakes up, sometimes the panel is missing. It does not always do this, but I have found that if I logout , and back in it restores it.

    I am not sure what...

    [ubuntu] Re: suspend

It sounds like it is more work than it is worth to figure out. It seems like ubuntu worked better years ago than it does now. I am not sure if it is ubuntu, or hardware is harder to work with, but...

Thank you for your reply. Do you know what logs to look at specifically? I can't switch to a console after I suspend, I tried, but it did not work.

    [ubuntu] Re: monitor color settings

I couldn't find an icp for the monitor. It is an lg 27up80B. It looks like they make some calibration software called TRUE COLOR PRO, for windows and mac, but not linux.

    [ubuntu] Re: monitor color settings

The option to calibrate is still grayed out when they are off.

I have a rtx3060 with the nvidia drivers installed. But I don't know of any software for it to adjust color.

    [ubuntu] Re: monitor color settings

I guess I should say the calibrate is grayed out. I do see the i mark, so I guess that means it needs to be calibrated, but I don't see how. Am I supposed to remove the profile? My screen is new.

    [ubuntu] Re: monitor color settings

Yes, I have looked there, but there is no "calibrate" to press. This is why I am asking if it is already calibrated, or is there something else I am missing?

  11. [SOLVED] Re: minidlna does not work with external drive

That did it! Changing the mount location to mnt rather than media fixed the problem. I had tried mounting it in my home directory, but that also did not work.

Thanks! I have been trying to...
  12. [SOLVED] Re: minidlna does not work with external drive

I made those changed to my minidlna.conf file, but it didn't make any difference.

I also tried using a flash drive that is formatted to ntfs, but that also did not work.
  13. [SOLVED] Re: minidlna does not work with external drive

I agree. I have also thought it must be something to do with the permissions, and I have tried a lot of settings. But maybe I just have not used the correct one. However I find it really strange...
