What is wrong? your fstab is fine -- the part that mentions "errors" is simply a mount option to take if there is a problem.
But you really should ask this question as a new thread, else only a...
I would look at that hard drive a little more. I run two old Dell laptops, D630 and D830, with 2.0 core2duos, 4 gb ram, and the same Intel graphics you have. The 830 is my daily driver, and has an...
It will be painful somewhat, mostly due to the circumstances surrounding the it. But, being a new year and all, it seems like it will be a good thing in the long run, and perhaps puts me physically...
Savannah. I do know it will be warmer, a lot warmer :D
Hi to all the Ubuntu Georgia folks!
I am moving from Maine to Savannah in about a weeks time and just wanted to say hello.
It didn't fix it for me.
is that date correct? the post date was today (8/4)
Time warp?
But it sounds like a plan! I may not be there in person as it is sooo busy at work I am putting in 12+ hour days, but i will...
I am contacting KFN's hosting to see if they can address the issue, the site's admin/owner seems to be unavailable right now. I myself was away at work and did not notice the downtime until this...
the MAINE-iacs website is live now!
Drupal and the Ubuntu tools available for it made setting this up a much easier task.
Matt L provided the awesome logo
Content will be sparse for a while,...
I REALLY should actually read these posts
I am a Foxcroft Alum, class of '85 ):P
I also never heard of Lisbon referred to as 'back woods' :)
Nearly there! I hope to be able to go "live" this next Saturday, August 28.
I have set up a drupal site at http://ubuntumaine.org, using some things from the Ubuntu Drupal team. matt74 created the...
Cool, someone more in my neck of the woods :)
I could not see where/how to get in touch with people at UMaine, and as I don't have my own transportation getting up there is a bit of a chore with my...
Wow, with all the heavy lifting already done with Drupal, I will go with that - we can always change to something else if necessary. I will just do a simple layout/setup for now, then once we get...
I prefer irc, voice chat is something I don't generally care to use, though it should work fine on my dsl. I have cable atm, but that will probably change soon due to financing (a lack thereof)
I am liking the Drupal theme and setup in places like the Ohio LoCo website
A similar text/logo would be pretty easy to replicate, plus it has the most current Ubuntu look n feel plus the...
I'll sort of recap some bits from the Website Offline topic.
What do we need for an Ubuntu Maine-iacs website?
What system should we use?
Drupal is well-known, well-supported, and has ...
I'll start a new thread on this, so we can aggreagate all this a bit better
not yet, at least.
just need some time, which I will have either Sunday or Tuesday
I am not sure what we should use. The last site was drupal, and it seems it got hacked. We could go with that...
well as for irc, just jump in and say "hello"! it might wake me up :)
soon, very soon folks :)
I say starting here is the best place to start, and take it from there
I just discovered that ubuntumaine.org is lapsed. So I just registered it :)
I also can provide the hosting, as I have...
I have never liked Gnome, and (probably) never will ;), and I still say no - they should stick to what they have put their time and effort into.
I have to agree 100% with the above. Demanding Canonical do something that distracts them from their overall long term goals is bad for everyone. Kubuntu included.
If I don't hear otherwise, I will see if I can get a new site up and running. I have web hosting I can use for this.
