    Re: Gnome Classic

It is not a GNOME Classic... Compiz & Metacity sessions are GNOME Flashback. GNOME Classic is GNOME Shell with extensions. :)

    [ubuntu_mate] Re: held packages

If you are using session that use gtk-window-decorator with metacity theme then you need update/change theme setting under org.gnome.metacity. If that is not your problem, then just ignore. :)
  8. [SOLVED] Re: suspend and sound control keys don't work

[gnome] Re: Gnome issues after 15.04 upgrade

[gnome] Re: Gnome issues after 15.04 upgrade

Well it looks like you need to edit two files:
    1. Stop dropbox.
    2. Change Exec line in /usr/share/applications/dropbox.desktop
    3. Change Exec line in ~/.config/autostart/dropbox.desktop

    Re: gnome(flashback) dual screen issues

If you want separate x screens, then this is not possible anymore. As you already know - all you will get is black screen. Since GTK+ 3.10 multi screen support has been removed.

[SOLVED] Re: did anyone bite this bullet?

No need to create empty file. Just comment out flashback and fallback lines by adding #. Unity will still use upstart and indicators will work.

[SOLVED] Re: did anyone bite this bullet?

All applets needs to be updated for new libpanel-applet library as I have made changes that breaks all existing applets.

indicator-applet-complete just needs to be rebuilt for new gnome-panel.
