    I confirm it fix the issue for me.
    But it's also annoying to not have this icon :(

    I will follow the issues closely on launchpad.

    I tried to register to report the issue on my Acer AS1410, but I never received the email from launchpad... will retry tomorrow.

    Hello,

    I am using lubuntu since 11.4 and it was working perfectly fine until I did the upgrade to 11.10.

    Since then, each time I resume from suspend (close/open lid of the laptop), a blank icon...
