Re: dual band PCIe wifi adapter card RT5592 problems

I'm thinking of getting a card with this chipset, did you ever get it working?
  2. [ubuntu] Re: replacing empathy with pidgin in indicator applet

You can get rid of 'chat', so you just have 'pidgin instant messenger' by uninstalling empathy. Not quite as nice as it just saying 'chat', but at least that's not there wasting space :)
  3. [ubuntu] Re: replacing empathy with pidgin in indicator applet

I'd also like to do this, but I don't think it's currently possible.

The indicator applet is still reasonably new, and getting significant upgrades with each release. Also big things are coming...

Re: HOWTO: Starcraft 2 in WINE

OK. I've just got it to work! I deleted my .wine folder, and then started SC without making any changes to the wine settings. The problem is that I have no sound, and also I have to delete .wine...

Re: HOWTO: Starcraft 2 in WINE

Well, it's just a folder. So either use your file manager, or the command:

    rm -rdf wine-git

Re: HOWTO: Starcraft 2 in WINE

What error do you get now? It worked two days ago, so I doubt things have changed so much to break the patch already.

Did wine download correctly when you used the command:

    git clone...

Re: HOWTO: Starcraft 2 in WINE

Yeah, you need to be in ~/wine-git Which the last command you entered should have taken you too.

Be sure to let us know if you get it working

    Good luck :)

Re: HOWTO: Starcraft 2 in WINE

That problem is mentioned on the HOWTO at the top of SC2's page on wine:
    http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19376

Looks like you need to apply a patch before compiling...

  13. Re: Visual Diff viewer which can create report / patch

The command line command "diff" should do the trick. By default it will just print to the screen the difference between the two versions of your program, but you can just use ">" to redirect the...

Thanks for the info, the snapshot seems to be working perfectly for me.

Thanks, that seems to have done it.
  16. [ubuntu] Re: 904 updates the same xulrunner-1.9.1 files everyday

I've had the same problem, have made the fix suggested, and now xulrunner doesn't want to update anymore.

But I'm worried that I've got a daily version of xulrunner still installed, which may well...

Re: Any PHP developers good with SOAP?
