Have you checked out Long & McQuade in your area? Haven't been to the one in Brampton, but have been to other stores in BC and Ontario. Pretty good selection at decent prices.
I'm not sure if...
You can check to see which process is eating up the cpu by clicking on the system monitor. My first guess would be trackerd - it's a program that indexes your desktop and is known to use the cpu...
it's more of general question rather than specific to myself. i'm just starting to read a book on poverty in africa, and looking at unemployment numbers and am wondering how hard it is to create...
just wondering for all those that have tried, how hard is it to start a business and have it be moderately successful?
Not necessarily, this poll doesn't represent the entire forum.
i don't think it would make for very interesting TV trying to bust this myth. Not unless they somehow make the computer explode at the end. Maybe they could bust the myth of the cpu that overheats...
I was just wondering how good do you find ubuntuforums advice to be in solving your problems. Don't just rate it good because the final advice that you received was good, but also consider the...

do you have to update the icon-theme.cache in order for this to work?
it's foresight
edit: there is an icon that looks like the warning sign that also has the foresight beak (?)
i can confirm that the screenshot was taken using gnome-panel-screenshot

The only clues that I can pick out are the compiz, nm-applet, menu bar icons.
I'm guessing based on the first two that it is a relatively recent release.
The menu-bar icon uses the start-here...
I was just watching the episode of mythbusters where they test the myth that claims that if you have a bunch of pigeons inside a truck, the truck will become lighter if all the birds are flying.

how about μbuntu (micro-ubuntu)?
you can find your own posts using search. there is even a quick link under the search heading and also a link when viewing profiles.
Is it true then that system security is inversely proportional to ease of use?
By dumbifying an OS does that inherently make it less secure?
Can someone fix this issue, or at least give the official explanation of what's going on? It's currently very frustrating trying to look for unanswered posts when I can't scroll past the second or...
have you tried the user agent switcher extension in firefox?
