    Audio selection

    Ubuntu 16.04
    Each time my machine restarts or suspends, the selected audio reverts to Digital Output (S/PDIF) from HDMI/DisplayPort 3.

    This morning I updated via the Software Updater, and after restart, menu items had disappeared. Hovering didn't reveal them. Restarted the computer, and all the menu items returned.

    As of March 1st updates, Ubuntu 16.04 has done something to the Menus for a Window. I've lost the ability to access the items in the menu bar for, among other programs, gedit, bluefish, and pinta.
