  1. [kubuntu] Re: Display freezing with open ati drivers and 380X

    Yes it is.
  2. [kubuntu] Display freezing with open ati drivers and 380X

It usually takes a few hours after a fresh boot but my display will go unresponsive with kUbuntu using the kernel 4.2 (hoping it would fix the issue from stock). I can switch to a tty during the time...

Two running, looking through this thread I guess I'm out of date when you all have your fancy lua scripts and what not.

  8. Re: Setting up a personal mail/calendar server

Hmm, I do like that, except that it seems to have too much overhead and also provides the client end to it all. My ideal situation is that I supply the frontends when I see fit (EX: using...

Would you happen to know if using the applications still call home to google or if they are able to stand apart?
  10. Setting up a personal mail/calendar server

With everything moving towards the cloud (and people loving this for some reason), as wells as google's growth in a direction I'm not particulary fond of I've been considering the idea of setting up...

    Re: Linux and C

As far as I'm concerned that is still true and I'm hardly a real programmer. That isn't to say that you can't do really fantastic things with python (see deluge), but it wouldn't be my weapon of...

Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

Anybody have some insight why changing own_window_type to normal would result in excessively high CPU usage? Conkyrc is below, need it to be it's own window so it'll stay on one workspace.

Re: Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots

Been messing with it, did set own window class to MYCONKY and xmonad telling to keep it on workspace 2. Doesn't do it, or keep it above. I'm sure I'm just missing something, I'll keep at it.
