That's odd, because I only view "community cafe" and the intrepid/testing board.
The thread has been in community cafe for me for months for certain.
More than 6 months ago? I remember reading about it back when hardy alpha 2 was out.
That is from interfacelift website I think. If you can figure out the day you downloaded it (if you got it shortly after it was released) it will be easier to find.

Assuming you have conky installed and you want it to run when your computer starts. Go to:
System->Preferences->Sessions->add conky.

I had similar problem when I started using conky 2 months ago. Takes a day to figure everything out. Like how to get it to start when the computer does. Also the .conkyrc was very confusing at first....
