How well Aspire One D255 work with the latest version of Ubuntu ?
How well Samsung N150 works with the latest Ubuntu
I'm also considering to buy this one. Did you manage to install the latest Ubuntu on it ? How well does it work ?
Ubuntu is supposed to come with sctp support, right ? I have libsctp1 library installed, but I cannot find netinet/sctp.h include file... what am I missing ?
I know about the lksctp library, but...
Well, looks like it did work for me eventually, but... what confused me is that I still got the "unable to enumerate" error message, but than it stopped and the disk started working.
enid's solution does not seem to work for me
I'm having the same issue with the most up to date version of Ubuntu
I noticed this problem in 10.10 too. Any suggestions ?
I booted into Ununtu 9.10 live CD for the sake of experiment just to discover that the same problem existed in 9.10 as well
No idea. It looks like the developers are not interested in making this card work. I'd it myself, I'm willing to invest some time in debugging this, but as I'm completely unfamiliar with the source...
It does not work for me. In fact, I cannot understand how this solution can possibly work
Not really, I use 10.10 and it does not work for me
I'm the guy you are exchanging emails on the mailing list :)
I tried to replace the firmware as you suggested, but it have not change a thing - I still get the same errors and scan still does not...
I'd rather use PCI card as my media center is a low power Atom based system...
Sounds to me like the support for this card is completely broken. What pisses me of is that I especially purchased this card as the linuxtv wiki states that it is fully supported.
I guess we are stuck.
I'm considering to buy a different card, but there is no way to know which one will work on Linux - this one was supposed to be OK...
I reported it on the linux-media mailing list but got no response. Maybe you should do the same - if more people report this issue maybe some of the developers will notice.
In addition, during analog scan, I get the following errors:
[ 6327.420037] tda18271c2_rf_tracking_filters_correction: [1-0060|M] error -22 on line 278
[ 6327.468028] tda18271_calc_ir_measure:...
I'm having all sorts of troubles with Wintv-HVR-1120 on Ubuntu 10.10 (kernel 2.6.35-22). Judging from what I've seen on the net, including this mailing list, I'm not the only one not being able to...
For me even scan does not work. Did you do anything special to get it working ?
I'm having similar problems with Ubuntu 10.10
Any suggestions ?
I have a network problem that drives me mad. First - the setup. I have two PCs connected via Ethernet to a router, running lt2p and other staff. Most of the time it works OK.
In my case it does work, but with very low volume.
Any clues ?
I have a decent system (or maybe not !?), but when I try to see HD movies with mplayer I get this error message.
I tried both radeon and radeonhd X11 drivers. No Compiz. Tried almost all mplayer...
