I have the 3.4.0 quantal kernel... still with nointremap - but it is now stable...

Installed from the deb packages.

Had several hangs using the stock kernel, so upgraded to 3.4 following:

I've installed the 3.4 kernel (dpkg) to get around the ivy bridge hang problem in the previous kernels. But, can't figure out how to get wifi working.

OK - wifi fixed by reverting back to the stock install driver.

Am having some problems with CPU lockups - possibly this is because the fans aren't being controlled properly, and so overheating? ...

Can you use 12.04? External display just works there...

OS X tests are using the same hardware (Mac Pro).

If there is only 1 FPU, then I wouldn't expect the OS X version to scale well.
