[ubuntu] Re: too many video drivers for my own good

Both ppa describe what to do to revert back to the original packages:

[ubuntu] Re: too many video drivers for my own good

    Not helpful.
We need the actual name of the ppa.
Could be either the padoka ppa or the oibaf ppa or any number of the literally thousands of ppas available.

[ubuntu] Re: too many video drivers for my own good

Where do you think you installed some other driver from?

FWIW, probably not a driver issue, as compiz plugins for various effects can break off and on.
Since there is less priority to keep them...

[ubuntu] Re: Upgrade to specific version

In a terminal, check the output of

    lsb_release -a
The Description should show as 18.04.4 on a fully up-to-date 18.04 release.

    Re: Ubuntu Mirror Issues

    What does

    apt policy libodbc1
    show?
There is no version 2.3.7 in any Ubuntu archive so not sure where it's coming from.
The above output should show something.

[kubuntu] Re: 20.04 ISO image always gets checked

There was a discussion over at discourse on this:

I think it should still apply to Kubuntu...
  12. Re: Software updater apparently no longer works for Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

If you try clicking on Remind Me Later,
then go and try opening Software Updater anew,
does it open up directly to the same window or does it start by running a check first?
  13. Re: Software updater apparently no longer works for Lubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

PPAs are listed in a separate directory /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
    (nevermind, monkeybrain20122 already mentioned that)

Seeing that you ran the remove command and the new update output shows no...

    Re: pcsx2 missing dependencies

    Thread moved to Emulators

It looks like the ppa for bionic https://launchpad.net/~pcsx2-team/+archive/ubuntu/pcsx2-daily
failed to build, so it produced no pcsx2-unstable package.

This isn't something that ships with Ubuntu, so you'd have to ask the developers about that:

    Re: Updates for Cinnamon Desktop?

    No idea.
If using the default Ubuntu archives then it's maintained by the Debian Cinnamon Team.
But that doesn't mean that the remix team isn't part of that Debian Team.

    Re: Updates for Cinnamon Desktop?

    Cinnamon from what?

    Re: Ubuntu Cinnamon?

At this point in time Ubuntu Cinnamon is completely unaffiliated with Ubuntu.
It's not an official flavor of Ubuntu like Kubuntu or Lubuntu are.
It has no support from Canonical.
