    I'm trying to read only the first \n or \r\n, wich should always be "the right one"…


    Because i'm taking this file from another (proprietary) program, wich will rewrite it completely...

    wich seems to work...mostly.

    You're right: originally that was a problem.


    Bacause i don't know perl enough…:rolleyes:

    the problem is not converting the file: my script can now support unix (\n) and dos (\r\n) files...

    be careful while using that way: i had to remove a \n in a file and discovered that non-gnu versions of sed (eg: the mac os x one, the solaris one…) may not support it.

    yeah, that worked for me, at least in sound recorder. haven't tried skype.

    On a 64 bit system you need to build it.

    ok, at first my keyboard was completely unusable and i hadn't a clue about the problem, so i reinstalled everything.

    then i added the module and started experiencing the x11 freeze probles again...

    regarding the "arrow" problem i had, it seems that there was something wrong with that specific panel. Creating a new one and moving everything on it worked perfectly.:)

    Hi, i built the package and now it works for me.:)

    but i have an arrow at the end of the menu that seems to cover up the rightmost entries. As you can see it can get very annoying...

    modprobe usbhid quirks=0x05ac:0x0236:0x00020800rebooted and tapping works too.:)
    the only things really missing now are the backlight of the keyboard and swapping fn keys.

    ok, i just booted up after a couple of days to fix the sound. I can't remember what i did last time, but the sound is now working on both internal and external speakers, although not so loudly.:)

    installed ubuntu on my MBP, finally…

    The open source drivers where enough to activate the acceleration for one of the graphic cards (not sure on wich one), but caused the problem that i described...
