    If you have the snap version of Libreoffice you need to enable specific permissions. You can use Ubuntu Software for that, just open the software's page and you'll see a big red "Permissions" button.

    The "legacy" mentioned above means "legacy USB support", not Legacy/CSM mode. You want to former enabled and very likely the latter disabled.

    Again, you need unallocated space right after the partition you want to expand and right next to the partition you apparently want to expand there's a swap partition.

    No need.
    You can remove the partition with Gparted in the live session. Then boot Windows and expand the partition immediately left to the now unallocated space.

    It seems that none of the Ubuntu repositories is enabled: Main, Universe, Restricted, Multiverse.

    Apparently Windows boots directly (it's a UEFI system) so no repair should be needed. And that in spite of which isn't applicable but so far seems to have done no harm.
