What battery life are you guys getting running Ubuntu on the UX32VD?

Tried this, and it did the most out of everything else, but I think my computer might have attempted to try to turn the universe upside down:

Would it not be easier to just log into Win7 and run Wubi from there again? Or would this mess things up because there is potentially still a Ubuntu installation there?

After reading through that link, it seems like my Ubuntu should be at hd0,5 since I'm dual-booting with Win7 (installed originally with wubi). However, when I run "ls" the response is:
