I don't think the stock kernel does but you can install the PAE kernel and it will. The install might even pick up that you have more then 3gigs or ram and install it for you
yes it will work great on that system
are you running the 32bit version or the 64bit version of Ubuntu?
if you installed gdebi you can right click and install. If not, you can open the terminal, navigate to where the file is located and run
sudo dpkg -i jitsi_1.0.1-build.3967_i386.deb

second, install testdisk
when you...
GRUB might not but what about fstab if its set up to use UUID instead of /dev/sd* ? Does cloning copy the UUID as well?
when you installed, where did you install GRUB?
I put a slideshow up last year to tribute a friends life after he died using Blackhawks Ships of Heaven and it's still there but I did get a notice saying it would be blocked in certain countries for...
so basically a slideshow is what you are going after. Not sure about Lives either but have heard of it. Another very easy to use one is Imagination but it outputs only to ogv format so unless you...
for the ubuntu install? yes it should be more then enough. I would give \ about 10-12gig and the rest for \home. Then you can mount the other partition after you get the install done.
if you actually have separate partitions then yes, you can keep your music, etc on a separate and install Ubuntu on the windows partition. Just make sure you pick the right partition to install...

difficult for anyone else to as well since you didn't post the entire output. Please post all of it so we can determine if Ubuntu is even seeing a modem
most internal modems that have been coming in computers for probably the last 10 years have been called Winmodems or software modems due to the fact that the actual card is really nothing more then a...
giving a recommendation depends on just exactly what you are trying or needing to do to the video. Do you already have a video of some sort and you want to edit it before uploading or are you trying...
