    [ubuntu] Karmic: Blank screen with live cd, resolution too high?

    I booted to live cd to install Karmic, but my monitor says "Out Of Range: 92.8k 58Hz". So I instead install Karmic with the alternate cd, but when it boots up I still get blank screen.

    Tried 2 CRT...

    You don't have to install windows first, but you do have to edit or reinstall grub after installing windows.

    To Fix grub after windows:
    boot the live cd
    open teminal
    type "sudo grub"
    type...
