Just tried installing Draftsight using 12.04 defaults (open .deb in Software Centre) - installation failed.
Used Gdebi (after right clicking the deb, Open with other package, find package online)...
Solved in part. Resorted to a clean install of 11.10 as a short term fix (12.04 Live CD also failed before getting to that), Windows 7 now ordered.
