when you open Pidgin and go into plug ins, do you see Rhythmbox plug in there? If you do, make sure its checked. if you dont, the installation did not complete: exit both rhythmbox and pidgin and...

i agree with that point, however its the same security risk as leaving the pc unattended, with who ever uses it to have access to my documents folders etc and so on. by design an unattended computer...

thats correct, there is no installation. just dl cube_2005_08_29_unix.tar.gz and extract it whereever (desktop if you desire) and inside youll have cube_unix.sh just run that.
