Could you take a look under System-> Keyboard and add it from there to be visible on the panel.

I think so. Why to support a "half" product? I know Chromium is indeed stable and absoluteley usable but I admit that Chromium has sometimes some little annoyances not openening a specific site etc....
Yes, in my case I saw it the first time after a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04. But no solution because I do not use Ubuntu anymore.
My girl friend is playing the Facebook games under Chromium without a problem, something has to be wrong with your setup.
